MarketsWorld is a binary option website operated by Markets the World Limited, a company based in the Isle of Man, Great Britain. Why is MarketsWorld worth checking out? Firstly, they’re actually regulated by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission. There are not many regulated binary options brokers, so this is a great plus to begin with. And this regulation is actually one that is well trusted with a reputation of actual regulation and quality control.

MarketsWorld is strongly recommended for new traders. They are legit. When you win your trades you will get paid. They offer the lowest trading sizes of any of the brokers. Another reason we find them intriguing is that they are one of the only binary trading brokers that has a totally free, no-deposit demo account that you can get just for registration. No deposit necessary.

You can practice with before you choose to place any money in your trading account. This is a very rare feature and one which gives credence to the company’s good intentions. Just register a new account and you will have around $5000 to trade with in fake money.

Licensed by the UK and offering some of the highest average returns, lowest minimum deposits and trades, transparency and legitimacy, is a top choice for binary option traders.

Getting Started At

Step 1: Account Creation/Opening a Demo Account

To get started, you’ll want to either open a real account or a demo account (which can be converted to a real account at any time simply by adding funds). As we’ve mentioned, not a whole lot of brokers offer demo accounts, and those that do usually severely restrict their usage. To all indications, you can trade indefinitely in demo mode at MarketsWorld. It is free, and if you lose all of your demo money they will refill it for you no problem. The team at has it right when it comes to getting a no-risk demo account.

Demo Account Requirements: You only need to provide a username, email address, and password to open a demo account. Then you can start making practice trades right away using $5,000 of virtual currency. You can reload the virtual account at any time with more virtual money by contacting customer service. They offer live chat support as well for easy access.

Why is a free demo trading account such a big deal? Demo testing is such a standard part of procedure in learning to trade that in other markets no one would even think about skipping that step who was serious about trading. We don’t really know why more binary options brokers don’t offer demo accounts for this reason. It is essential that you practice trading in real time using whatever trading method you’ve created if you’re at all serious about trading professionally and making consistent profits. It’s the only way to find out how your method translates to a real-life schedule. It also allows you a chance to learn your way around the trading platform without losing real money because of simple mistakes.

Step 2: Funding Your Account

Once you’ve decided you’re ready to trade with real money, you can fund your account using credit card or wire transfer.  Credit card is by far the fastest and easiest.  The minimum deposit is only $20 USD, EUR or GBP. This  is also the withdrawal minimum which is very good as well.  You can withdraw as many times in a month as you like if you used a debit or credit card for withdrawal.  Bank wires have a fee for the second + cash out per month, the first one is free.

There are several types of bonuses available including a 50.00 USD (or equivalent) free trade, a match bonus of 100% on up to 300.00 USD, and up to 300.00 USD for referring a friend. Bonuses are provided as leverage until you turn over a certain amount of money. You can view your requirements at any time in your account status if you choose to accept a bonus offer.

Trading Options at MarketsWorld

Regardless of whether you open a demo account or real account, clicking on “Trade” in the menu will take you to the trading platform. You’ll get a page that looks like this:

You’ll notice a list of assets, which at the moment isn’t very long. Right now all you can trade is Gold, AUD/USD, EUR/TRY, USD/JPY, Dow Jones, Oil, EUR/CHF, EUR/USD, CAC 40, FTSE 100, Silver EUR/GBP, GBP/USD, DAX, or IBEX 35. Start out by choosing an asset to trade. Then go to the Expiry drop down and select an expiration time. Then choose “High” if you believe the asset will be trading above its current price when it expires, or “Low” if you believe it will be trading below its current price when it expires.

You can choose expiry times of 5-10 minutes, 30 minutes, or End of Day.

Put in your stakes in the box next to “Invest,” and then click on “Buy,” to complete the transaction. Pretty simple! We wish that this company offered more ways to trade binary options (One Touch, Boundary trading, etc.), but hopefully they will branch out in the future.

The minimum trade is $1.  You can’t actually significant trades if this is all you put in your account (while following sane money management principles), but you can look at placing very small trades as another way of practicing. You’re allowed to trade as little as 1 USD on a trade at MarketsWorld, which is excellent if you’re still learning!  This is the smallest binary option trade size on the market today.

Trading Features Available

Trade 1 USD to 1000 USD.

Choose from a variety of expiry periods.

Demo trade as much as you need to.

Deposit as little as 20 USD.

Fantastic website. Easy to navigate, clear on terms.

Regulated broker.

Is Markets World a Good Broker? (Yes)

We have worked closely with MarketsWorld for many years now and they have lived up to their reputation as a quality, reputable binary option broker. To all indications, MarketsWorld is a broker well worth a closer look and maybe worth a try. The demo account offer is really a standout feature, and we love the flexibility with trade sizes and deposit amounts. The company is actually regulated, which is a huge plus and adds to our impression that they may be trustworthy. Their articles section is a bit peculiar (the articles are off topic and appear to be spam), but aspects of their site appear to still be under construction (those articles will probably be replaced by real articles on binary options when they get around to developing that aspect of the site). Customer service is available via live chat, email, and telephone.

We recommend that you get in touch with them yourself and ask any questions you have so you can make up your own mind about whether you would like to trade at MarketsWorld. Take a look around the site and try the demo account before you decide to trade live.

  1. According to this article, you will be offering 60-second binary options during October 2013. It is now November, when will they finally appear? I would like to start trying them… Thanks

    1. They have 60 second options now (added in late 2014).

  2. To update, the latest I have heard was to expect them in March or April of 2014.

  3. I have/had an account with Marketsworld, I also have several other accounts on the web so I am constantly watching my charts. Yesterday Marketsworld had a glitch in their system, I wasn’t worried because my bid was in, my bid finished in the money, I got a message saying UNRESOLVED, I spoke to the lady on the chat, she asked me to give it 20 minutes they were having problems. When the problem was fixed they came back, said I finished out of the money. I checked all my charts not to mention I was watching their chart at the expiry, I was in the money. This was sent to their investigation team, this is the 2nd time this happened to me, the first time it was close so I didn’t argue the point, this time it wasn’t close so I argued the point. They admitted to having issues but stuck with my bid losing. I am so happy this wasn’t a large sum of money. It’s not up to me if you choose to use this site but please be careful!!!

    1. I had the same problem in demo account. I was ITM by huge margin, not just by few pips. When the trade expired this UNRESOLVED thing came and when it got resolved I was OTM. If their software cannot decide whether the trade was ITM, OTM or ATM, then there is something fundamentally wrong.
I hope they resolve this glitches and I do not have to see them in the future of my demo trading. Otherwise, I love the simplicity and the small trade and deposit amts. And the fast and sure withdrawal, as pointed out by most reviews, is what I dig most. If the glitch is resolved and does not appear in the future I sure will do the live trading.

      1. I have an acct with marketsworld and they are legit -although i am a newbie i am happy even i lost- actually if a system issue arises in course of a trade that is benefit of doubt to the marketsworld as per trade policy-so i always trade small amts so that i dont regret loss-ON THE WHOLE THEY ARE GOOD AND CAN CONTINUE- I GIVE 10/10 – good support – their bonus policy is entirely different from others so dont refuse bonus- it doent afft your acct and they dont block withdrwals

      2. in case a trde is shown unresolved- i have had experience not all goes out of the money though some may= i am happy that marketsworld follow a transperent policy and justify their act- at least they are honest in admitting their mistakes also unlike others!-

  4. When you see your time expiry trading in the U.S. you will need to allow a couple of seconds longer to close. I always count at least 3 secs as I look at the trading amount for changes. Once you work with this delay I think you will find Marketsworld to be accurate. Not sure if in the future this will be resolved. Myself, I really like Marketsworld.

  5. I have spent a lot of time reviewing dozens and dozens of binary options trading sites and decided to give Markets World a try as well.

They offer many of the services I was looking for and with a demo trading platform, who could go wrong.

I only did 7 trades and found there are several issues with this site not covered in the above review.

    1. The site keeps having glitches with their data feeds, or so they say. I can watch a trade window and suddenly it loses its connection and says trading unavailable.

    2. While watching a demo trade in the money as a call. The trade was at 1.32602 and when it expired it was at 1.32604. I watched it very closely. Now, on the completed trades screen, it showed it closed at 1.32592 far from where the trade was at when it closed. So far, in just 7 trades I’ve run into several glitches like this and then was given a lengthy canned technical response.

    3. Then when a trade was over, it said The site keeps coming up and going down losses connection and then the live chat person says the technicians are aware of this and are working on it. According to George: The most likely reason why you may experience a difference is due to the source contributors and the filter algorithms used by MarketsWorld compared with the other charting. All FX operators must use filter algorithms to provide the most accurate prevailing quote from the numerous banks around the globe contributing quotes simultaneously. At times there may be dozens of quotes per second. We always provide the most competitive quote to our customers from our 26 source interbank contributors. No two feeds for FX will be exactly the same due to the different parameters set by each broker as well as differences in the interbank source contributors. (wow)

If this is what happens when doing demo trades, what am I to expect when live trading an d the buy orders go in at the price I select but the ending price does not end at the price on the screen when the time runs out. There is a 4 second delay from the time the sale ends to the time it gets posted and in that time, you can be out of the money. In two of the demo trades it took over 1 minute to get posted in completed trades. I had to keep refreshing my screen. The trades going in go in at the price you set when you click buy, but when the clock runs out and the trade settles, it settles far from where it was when the clock ended. Why does it work properly on the front end when buying but does not work properly on the back end of the trade. Is this a time stamp scam?

  6. I forgot to mention, I also got the UNRESOLVED message when a trade for $250 was ITM in the demo screen and then well over five minutes later it was posted in the completed trades as a loss.

    What gives?

  7. To BinaryTrading:

I posted a legitimate concern about MarketsWorld on this page and you guys deleted it. That tells me that this site is also a scam and now I will post on sites where you can’t delete my posts. You were better off just letting it lay, now I will post everywhere that BinaryTrading reviews are skewed and sensored.

It’s a shame that you give forums like this a bad name. When there are legitimate concerns on a trading platform, you should not be sensoring posts that relate to issues that affect traders.

    1. Our system automatically puts comments in the spam filter because the spammers are relentless. I have to approve comments daily. I just hadn’t gotten to yours yet. You will see that your MarketsWorld comment is now live, and was so before I even saw this message.

      1. OK, thanks for the reply. You can delete this last post if you want.

  8. I just got another UNRESOLVED close for a put option on MarketsWorld. I suggest everyone who is interested in using this site to open a demo acct first and see for yourselves how many times their data stream drops out and says, trading unavailable. And it says this on every Forex option all at the same time.

My $150 put option was in the money all the way until it closed. Then, the UNRESOLVED message pops up. Funny thing is, the trade never showed up in the completed trades screen, and then, the $150 was subtracted from my balance. What gives here. When I demo other sites, I do not see this nor do I see their UNRESOLVED message or data streams being dropped repeatedly. The interface is great especially the 1 min, 5 min, 30 min and 1 hour graphs but they really need to do something about their data stream glitches and UNRESOLVED messages.

  9. The canned response from their live chat people is the same reply every time. “The developers know about this issue and are working on it and should have it resolved soon.”

Traders should be cautious when placing trades due to the many UNRESOLVED messages and TRADING UNAVAILABLE messages and the “data stream” continually dropping.

  10. MarketsWorld also only provides one commodity to trade, Gold. Oil and Silver are the other two but they are suspended in Demo mode. There are only 8 Forex options and all are active but they have only 5 Indices and all those are suspended in Demo mode, so you are primarily only able to demo trade on 9 options in demo mode. There are no stocks listed in demo mode.

  11. This Broker Is Very Nice and Honest, Because when Any server problem arises during the trade, and all of sudden unable to make trades, and if our trades are in open position and all of sudden platform not works, then I felt and feared,,but later they settled honestly without any delay..they are so good in this binary world…whenever I am making withdraw, within 24 hours they are paying to me. Very Good Broker…Their Price Movement also very honest and Genuine..If you want to make real money in Binary Options, there is the only one way cumulative trading method…If you win Consecutively 5 times, then with $10 Investment It can possible to Make it $141…that means all the time when you are winning and then for next trade add the profits and take trade, like that all the time just add the profits to the next trade, then very good profits you will make…This is my earning secret..If middle of the Trade if any trade lost..only hardly I will loose $10 only…If continue sly I win then I will Get Profits $141-$10=$131

    thank you friend
    md kumar

  12. UNRESOLVED MY %$#&@# I was again well into the money even 5 seconds after it closed and yet another UNRESOLVED bid coast me $127.00. This site robs you over and over.

  13. Now, MarketsWorld has removed the viewing options of 30 sec, 1 min, 5 min, 30 min, 1 hour trades as they happen and instead replaced them with: 5 min, 30 min, 1 hour and 2 hour viewing options.

This is a big negative in my book. I like the shorter viewing options to watch trades more closely. Why did they do that on September 9, 2014?

  14. A very problematic issue with this site is the TRADING UNAVAILABLE message. Right in the middle of a trade or just before a trade expires, TRADING UNAVAILABLE message hits every option screen on my screen and freezes all trading. A flat line shows no trades and then when it resumes 30 seconds to a minute later, your screwed. Dropping the streaming feeds is a huge problem on this site and can cost a trader big money in lost trades or lost opportunities.

  15. WorldsMarket has many great features, but if you truly want to be rapid trading meaning multiple 60 second trades on the same currency, I’d recommend another site. When you place a trade, you get a 12 second delay timer that will not allow you to make an additional trade on the same currency. Other sites will allow additional trades immediately after your prior trade. This is a huge negative in my opinion because if the market is responding quickly, you have to wait till this timer ends before you can make another trade on the same currency and during this time, you could have made several more calls or puts costing you lost trades.

You really can’t make multiple 60 second trades on the same forex. The timer is set for two minute trades. If you wait till about 7 seconds before the clock changes, you can get one 60 second trade in. Then when the clock starts again, it automatically starts with a two minute timer so this site although has some nice feature, has more drawbacks that can affect a trader looking for multiple trades on the same Fores. You also get the TRADING UNAVAILABLE OR UNRESOLVED message or a 12 second delay on the same trade. All these cause lost trades and delays in trading that can affect whether you WIN or Lose.

  16. Marktsworld offers both the best and the worst you can find out there. On the one hand, they have all this nice features: low deposit, free unlimited demo account, fast withdrawal time, small trade amount, name it. But on the other hand, they have a platform that is very well designed to “cheat” out now and then. I must say, they’re the only brokers I’ve ever had “unresolved” trades on, “trading unavailable” too frequent, and you’re sure to have the feed hang and be OTM when it finally comes. Again, I notice you almost always start a losing streak when you place larger size trades.

So though I trade with them, I’ve learned to be very careful with them. Please don’t be fooled by their niceties, you’ll lose out in the end. Be Very Very Careful with Marketsworld!

  17. Why do I keep getting, you need to update your browser, with no options to opt out of that. I already have updated browsers. I have Mozila, Internet Explorer and Google Chrome, and none of them work or pulls up my accounts. Therefore, I can not trade, haven’t been able to trade for weeks. I afraid to make a deposit to continue.

  18. The worst of this broker is the second or even
minutes that give more after the expiration time
negotiation, lose trades that were gains in time.

And the minimum trades are 120 seconds and 60 seconds

  19. And the minimum trades are 120 seconds and no 60 seconds

  20. Hello,

I am with marketsworld, about 6 month. There are no problems regarding the expire time,or positioning of the trades. It is true that sometimes, you lose the trade within mil seconds, but most of the trading platforms online has the same problems.I compare different techniqual analyses and price movements charts, and i see that it works all fine.

Trading unaivalable are just momentary blocks when you cannot put your trades.I dont experience it as an problem, and it is nothing to worry about. You just have to wait a couple of seconds. It has nothing to do,with making you difficult to execute trades, because most of the time the momentum are when the price condions are bad.In mine opinion you just have to wait a little and look for another opportunity.

For me,marketsworld is working just fine, and the costumer support is good and friendly.

There are alot of platforms out there, that are really bad with a bad costumer support,.

If you are not happy with marketsworld you just look for another platform and stop complaining about it.

Another advice is,not to put your money in one basket or position.Be carefull, have an strategy and use risk management when you trade.

And for online performence of platforms. Most of the platforms has problems or glitches. There isnt one platform that can work perfectly in a imperfect and virtual world.

If you have thousands of traders executing their trades on their platform afcourse sometimes there is an glitch or some other kind of problem.

Also other online websites or online businesses or governement websites has daily problems with their performence.

If you are looking for an perfect website or platform then i sugggest you stay out of the virtual world, because the truth is,that all websites are bad sometimes even the best ones.
